Lose Inches Off Your Waist

The waist is the most frustrating places to lose fat. It seems that most of our body fat accumulates in that area! Why is that? The reason is simple; the waist is genetically designed to store up on fat and accumulate it - there is also a lack of dense muscle mass in your waist to make it stand out even more when fat is accumulated.

Plus, how can you really expect to lose that waist fat if there are few known exercises that can get rid of it? Imagine your day - how often do you actually use your waist in comparison with your arms, legs, and even your shoulders and neck.

Hula hooping is an overlooked exercise. That’s too bad because it’s awesome at creating incredible definition in the waist and hips. A nice feminine definition that gives women a curvy, yet lean, look. Just do it for 5 minutes a day. Again, you can spread it out or do it all at once. It’s up to you and how busy your schedule is.

Once you get a little definition, do isometric abs squeezes. These are great for finishing off your waist to make it look as flat and lean as possible. What you do is tighten and squeeze your abs for 15 seconds on and off for a few minutes a day. That’s it.

For a fast fat burning 10 minute workout, this is how you would set the treadmill: When you begin, start off with a speed of 3.0 and set the incline to 4.0. Then, after the first 3 minutes, increase the incline by 2 to 6.0, then once you’ve reached 6 minutes, increase the incline by 2 again to 8.0, and finally wait until you are at 9 minutes and then increase it to 12.0 for the final minute to reach 10 minutes. Trust me, you will be sweating….a lot!!

For optimum success in not only to lose inches off your waist, but also to lose weight and build lean muscle, you must first understand that you are going to have to do both cardio and weight training exercise….not one or the other. So many people focus on cardio to burn fat and lose weight, all the while weight training is what burns the most fat….even while you rest.
